How overage billing works.
The goal is simple: clear pricing, no surprises, and no steep jump when volume grows.
Rule 1
The free allowance covers up to 1,000,000 events in a calendar month.
Rule 2
Once usage exceeds the included monthly allowance, billing adds $5 for each started extra block of 1,000,000 events.
Rule 3
The same pricing model applies whether you route events to one destination or many.
Rule 4
Stripe is used for payment processing and payment-method handling so card data never lives onEVENTS Gatewayservers.
Rule 5
If an invoice remains unpaid for 15 days after due date,EVENTS Gatewaycan suspend event routing automatically until payment is resolved.
